I’ve noticed that since Barack Obama took office in January 2009 and quickly named Eric Holder to be his legal puppet that the issue of race in America has been steadily getting worse. I don’t know if it’s because some blacks feel entitled to act that way now that they have a half black president and black attorney general or if it’s because of the lawless examples that Obama and Holder have set.

I seriously doubt if Holder does anything without Obama’s approval and knowledge so when he dismissed the felony charges for voter intimidation against two members of the New Black Panthers, I’m sure he was just following orders. When Holder went after Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for doing his sworn job, I’m sure he was following orders. When Holder rushed to Ferguson, Missouri before all of the facts were known in the shooting death of Michael Brown, I’m sure he was following orders. To be honest, I’m not sure if Holder is capable of making some of the decisions he’s been credited with making, at least now with direction from his puppet master.

One way or another, there has been a marked increase of hatred toward whites among many black people in our nation. It’s sad to hear some of the prominent black leaders shout out their venomous vitriol toward people whose only difference is the amount of melanin in their skin. Al Sharpton is the first one that comes to mind along with Troy, New York Councilwoman Anastasia Robertson.

So is it any wonder that we are seeing a younger generation of blacks being trained to hate every other ethnic group of people, especially whites?

Take the case of a 16 year old girl who attends Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Riding the bus home from school, another girl started taunting and harassing her. When the girl got off the bus to walk home, the girl doing the taunting also exited the bus, tripped the first girl and then started punching the first girl as she lay on the ground. The victim suffered numerous injuries including a deep cut above her one eye. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was treated for her wounds.

What was the harassment and beating over? The girl doing the attacking told the victim that she was acting ‘too much like a white person.’ Oh yeah, both of the girls, the victim and attacker are both black. The victim has lighter skin than the attacker who has been harassing the victim for over a year. On this occasion last Thursday, the attacker wanted the victim to fight her but she refused. That’s when darker skinned girl began her assault.

This kind of racial hatred has to be learned from somewhere or someone. Movies like Django Unchained only help to promote racial hatred. Rappers shout out words of hate not much different than those of Sharpton, Robertson and other radicals. Obama and Holder lead by example, but the bottom line is that I believe much of it is learned at home from an early age.

Some years back, I worked as a meter reader for a utility in Arizona. One day I was reading a route in south Phoenix in an area that was nearly all black. As I was walking from house to house to read the meters this little black kid, who could not have been much older than four, approached me and started calling me all kinds of racist names and using the ‘f’ word very liberally. That kind of training obviously came from home.

If blacks want racial equality and peace, it has to start with them, but so far, their actions clearly demonstrate that they don’t want peace and equality. They are thriving on hatred and bitterness and all we can do is pray for them.
